Very cool man.
I thought about you earlier today.

Wife and I went to Garrett and I thought, if I had his cell I would stop by and grab that tank,,,, if he still has it. LOL

I am gonna have to go with ya'll one day over to the White.

Finally got all three pics on there. Yes Ruger. You need to go with me over there, you might give up bluegill fishing! Lol It doesn't take but a little longer drive to be over there than going to the Caney and you can use a boat pretty easy all of the time.
The tank is still here waitin on you.

I love the White River! That top pic is my favorite part of the river as far as scenery goes. If you didn't know better you would think you were way out west and not in Arkansas.

Man I love it over there also. Scenery is spectacular in a lot of areas. Some great fishing. We used to camp on the river bank a lot and listen to the water moving and the fish jumping all night.
Some good people in that part of the country also.

Some of your better trout fishing is in Feburary, I love going to the White, Spring, and Little Red as well as the Buffalo river. That is a nice looking Brown, Spring would be a great time to plan a TNDEER White River adventure.
I have a 4 door pickup that would haul a few guys and their gear.

Ruger I want to go all the time!

Fishing will be good all winter. Less people then and the big browns come out to play after their migration and spawning run. Just have to watch the weather in the winter it can be a real mess over there sometimes.

Let me know. My boat can fish three really comfortable.

10-4 will do man. :D

I am looking forward to it.

If I hadn't been gone all weekend this past one, I would either be there or at the Caney when the sun came up Saturday morning.

I am going in November, during the opening weekend of gun season. :)

However, the White River is like my own version of Krytptonite. I CANNOT catch anything in the river. I must be cursed or something. The crew I fish with does pretty well there. But not me. But that's ok, I do much better at the Norfork.

Let me know if there is going to be a tndeer float on the White River. I would have to know 6 weeks in advance to get PTO approved. I would like to see what that river is like. I saw a fishing show earlier this year on the White River by G3 Outdoors and they didn't catch anything over 15 inches, but caught a lot of fish.

This is my boat for the White. I have fished from Wildcat Shoals all the way to the dam. From below Sylamore to the junction of the White and the Norfork. And a section below and above Cotter. Something in the neighborhood of 47 river miles. My biggest browns have come in the late fall up above the White Hole to Gastons. Been going over there for 21+ years.

I have about ruined a few people by getting them over there and introducing them to the river. Did I mention shore lunches with grilled trout?
