White Bass Die Off

Douglas Lake is experiencing a very large die off of white bass. They are being seen from the dam way up to near the river channel. My fishing partner said he bet he saw two to three hundred yesterday around points 17 and 18. Another fellow who has seen and smelled a lot dead down around the dam said he talked to someone who said they started coming to the top of the water Thursday evening. Could be a slow year next spring for those fishing the white bass run.

I have it in the TWRA forum and there is always a Warden, or multiples, on that lake so I am sure they know about it.
