2 years ago right before muzzle loader and it may have been 3 i had a neighbor shoot the leg of my ladder stand, I seen it when I went to ck straps, I decided not to use it , same guy owns property next to my mother inlaws place, for the last 6-8 years if ge see's me headed into the woods he will shoot every 5-10 minutes till I come out or it gets dark, this is on the bottom section, not sure if a pistol did this or a muzzle loader, havent shot anything but 45 into old freon tanks and they blow through both sides. He also puts cows on the place next door a couple of days before muzzy season, cows will stand at fence and I am afraid if I shoot I might spook them and cause them to break a leg, basically screwed to hunt either place,

I dont think cows will spook terribly. I have shot anthem for years on the farm i hunt. The guy that owns the land shoots there regularly and they may jump, but not stampede. And id put a stop to the shooting with a phone call to police. THEY won't do anything but come out and usually that's enough to put an end to it.

might saw it off and put it up, got 8 ac down the street and they are logging the place next door, think it is 60ac.

Thats definitely first start, he's shooting so that's not scaring them...
