There are two places to go under the trestle
When the water is up they look just alike
One spot will be a couple feet deep, the other spot will be about 12 feet deep.
That's the side they pull duck blinds in and out.

Don't know where he is from, but I was hunting with a friend of his the morning it happened and was told about it.
I was told it was some guys from East TN, they lease a farm in the area and fly a private plane into Dyersburg airport and keep the truck at the airport to drive while hunting. I guess they got one of the draw blinds or were hunting with someone at Gooch that day.
I guess because usually nobody hunts there that has never laid eyes on the place before the day of their "opportunity"

TWRA shouldn't mind spending a few thousand dollars for signs there....
Maybe they could put that out there for bid too

I know someone that saw it happen, he said the guy drove in and unloaded his boat and drove out and went out the wrong side. He had not idea why he would do that instead of coming out the way he went in.
They've put up all kinds of signs already for the newbies lol. Im still looking for the one that says if you don't know where you're going go home
