Whats the best way...

to set up decoys. Where should I place them? Off to my side or what. I know your not supposed to put them directly in front of you because you could get shot. I have had 2 jakes and a tom come into my decoys this year and I let the jakes walk. The tom I missed judged the distance on and missed him. I know he will not be back but I know of at least 2-3 more mature birds that are hanging out on my in-laws farm and I was just looking for some good input...

IDK I don't even use decoys. I don't really hunt fields either. Unless it's raining, but I haven't had to do that this year and only have hunted in the rain once before. Hopefully someone can give you some good advice though. ttt

No idea, don't own any. Makes the decision simple.
