to set up decoys. Where should I place them? Off to my side or what. I know your not supposed to put them directly in front of you because you could get shot. I have had 2 jakes and a tom come into my decoys this year and I let the jakes walk. The tom I missed judged the distance on and missed him. :mad: I know he will not be back :eek:but I know of at least 2-3 more mature birds that are hanging out on my in-laws farm and I was just looking for some good input...

IDK I don't even use decoys. I don't really hunt fields either. Unless it's raining, but I haven't had to do that this year and only have hunted in the rain once before. Hopefully someone can give you some good advice though. ttt
