What's everyone doing opening day eve?

I'm going to take my son to a high school game. I'm pretty much packed and ready for Saturday.

Heading down to Chatt town for business. Back Sunday night to get ready for some Monday morning tree sitting.

Sunday night I guess I'll double check stuff do a little work and turn in early.


Very excited at the opportunity.

I have a great wife, she gives luvin when I go huntin. Loves the deer meat when I bring it home. However when deer season is over and I am fishing all the time she get's pissed

High School football game friday night and off to bed. Up early the next morning and try to find all my stuff and head out.

I have an end of the year fish off tournament to fish tonight. It is not over until one in the morning. I will be lucky to get in bed by two thirty. I hate to fish the night before, but there is $1500 on the line that I can't pass up. The wind is currently showing wrong for my two best spots in the morning. Instead of hunting in the morning, I may get up mid-morning, do some scouting, and then hunt tomorrow evening. We will see.

Yea i used to be that guy that everything was done and in its place and ready to go and then i had 2 daughters. One is 4 and and on is 16 months. Now all my stuff is crammed in the garage closet but in no kind of order. lol

Hey muddyboots your situation sounds just like mine except I have two little crazy boys 4 yrs old and 17 months and let me tell you those little guys are all about hunting its just that throughout the year they get all my camo out and act like they're hunting in the house and yard so I try to keep it rounded up but there's always something missing and I think back yeah I remember my 4 yr old putting my hat on the dog thinking its his hunting buddy but goodness ill buy new hunting clothes every year if it means watching my little boys act like they're hunting with me

Look at the calendar to make sure it's not muzzleloader season yet. Then go to bed around 10, get up around 6and hit a few yard sales and come back home in time to watch a game or two.

Cook pork chops on the grill, with charcoal and misquite wood. Get that really smokey smell on me, then spray myself with fresh earth scent in the morning, to mask it all ! lol..........

That is funny! My plans are the same, and for the same reason. Lol she is staring to understand tho. She bought me a sign for my deer room that says "we interrupt this marriage to bring you deer season". Lol she has been shooting her bow like a madman, so I'm gonna try to put her on one this weekend.
