We hung a stand last weekend and worked up our plots. We got covered up with ticks last weekend. I had at least 100 seed ticks on me. Becki had about the same on her.

Today we were back in the woods doing a little squirrel hunting. We got them again today, I even sprayed down with deet and keroosine on my boots.

I've heard of Hi Yield. but is there anything I can get to spray the woods to kill these ticks out a little?

Try permetherin based sprays. These are often available at Walmart, Coops, TSC, etc. Spray your boots, pants, and waist line. Tuck your pants into your boots afterwards and you will be very happy.

Ditto

I've tried to find the spray but the places around here don't sell it. I think it was Stik that got the 10% stuff and cut it down. I can't find the stuff anywhere!

I'm actually wanting the stuff to put in my sprayer for the woods, and my yard.

Shane, tsc or coop will sell the stuff and you can put it in your sprayer. I bought some at tsc it is in the section with the horse stuff.

Coops sell permethrin sprays, and that is where you can get the concentrate (that needs to be cut at a 20:1 ratio). Spray ALL of your clothes, not just cuffs and waistband. I use permethrin on all my clothes and never get ticks or chiggers. Without the spray I'm a chigger magnet.

Our Coop didn't have any in stock. TSC sells it on their website but not in the store.

I'll just have to order some of it offline. I'll spray all of our clothes and boots then spray our stands down.
