what does ex stand for on 870?

So I went over to the sporting goods while my wife was at walmart and they had a remington 870 ex super mag what does the ex stand for is this something that Walmart carries or what is it I think the had four hundred and some dollars for it.

Still a great gun, it's just not as purdy as a Wingmaster. Can't go wrong with an 870.

yep its still a great gun, just dont look as good. walmart guns are the same as gander mtn, bass pro or any other outdoor stores. most of the time wal mart has better deals
