What is the difference between guiding and/or asking for a donation to hunt on a property that myself would call and provide decoys? I'm speaking on Sandhill cranes. I know that tags are required for cranes but duck and goose is open at the same time. I could be hunting the latter while someone else is hunting the other and all I require is a donation to hunt? @scn

If it walks like a duck, and quacks like a duck, then it probably is a duck.

Sounds like guiding to me. Adjust your "donation " price to cover the cost of the guide license.
How is it different from a something like a one day "pay to hunt" deer hunt on private property? And I am speaking of private property. I would think a guide license would be required for public land and water but not private? Am I wrong in this thinking?
