If I wasn't already really excited for muzzleloader to start and to get into this stand then I really am after catching this guy on camera this past week. Also caught a couple of great 8pts. Decided to put this new stand here early October and it looks like it is going to be a hot spot. Can't wait to let the black powder burn Saturday morning.

The bad thing is that he shows up around 10:30pm and doesn't stay long. Hopefully the rut will get him moving during shooting hours.

Shouldn't be any mistake in recognizing him. Good luck.

Not at all.

Lots of doe in the area and seen a couple of young bucks getting after it. Trying to decide if rattling might bring him in, or urine or estrous, or play it clean and hope he shows himself in shooting light.

What would y'all do?
