I remember telling my friend John about watching for a wire on a barbed wire fence. We'd been hunting turkeys during the archery only season in KS. On the last hour of the last day, the weather was nice and the turkeys came in.
They were so close I wanted to warn him again, but the look in his eye told me to "shut up!". He fired and not only hit the blind, but square into the fence wire! There were arrow pieces flying everywhere! It is hard to see a limb with a bow or crossbow because of your point of view.
