Shot a cull the other night and still can't figure out why this happened.
I'm shooting a 270wsm with 130 gr SST's going just about 3400 FPS. I shot this little buck in the neck at 120 yards,I was shooting him head on. Perfect shot through the front of the neck and exit hole took out the spine but there was another hole about 1/2" round out the side of the neck about 5" lower than the entrance and exit hole. Busted bone ? Chunk of bullet ? No matter he dropped dead in his tracks,just kinda weird.
