Two years ago I shot what I thought was a doe towards the end of the season. I had what I thought was a small buck grunting and chasing a doe and they ran into a massive downed tree that completely blocked my view of them. I saw the buck walk off and finally the "doe" stepped broadside into a semi opening. I took the shot and down she went. I was shocked when I walked up on her. The side that was facing me was a rack that had been broken off just above the hairline. The other side of the rack was just a spike but it had grown straight down instead of up and it grew into the side of the buck's head all the way to the mouth. I never saw it before shooting. Since it was over 3 inches I still had to check it in as a buck but I felt cheated out of one of my buck tags.

We have a farm that consistently produces a prefect semetrical right side of antlers and a non typical left side. Definately genetics there because 80% of the bucks have this trait

And they say there is no such thing as a cull buck.

I was on the Tejon Ranch and shot a mule deer buck with a single spike antler over 11 inches long, straight up. When I went to where it fell I discovered the deer had been standing on the edge of a 20 foot drop. Getting that deer out took nearly 10 hours.

there's not, by the time you realize he's a "cull" he's already knocked up a bunch of does

I shot this one a few years ago. Had 12 points all together. Taxidermist found 70 pellets of #7 bird shot in his right ear and antler base. We also found a spot under the hide on his back where he had been grazed the year before with a rifle bullet. I did have him scored at 140 1/8th.

Opening day of muzzleloader 2013 in Davidson County.

This isn't one to write home about, but I took him out of the herd last year. I can't say that I have seen as much black on a snout before as on this one.

personally i think the weird, abnormal and non-typical animals make the most interesting trophies !

I think I am of the same mind here. I haven't really seen a weird one on my hunting property till this year and I want him more than the bigger one I saw purely because of it being unusual.
