I have seen quite a few bream where Picnic Springs empties into the Caney below Long Branch Campground.

That's when the big ones come out and play. I remember reading an article about catching big browns on black Arbogast Jitterbugs at night.

Not sure bout the trout, the walleye sure do. My neighbor has a 10 pounder on the wall that he caught along the wall from the ramp. On top water I might add. I live about 10 minutes from the Dam, are you there all weekend? If so I will ride down and say hello.

Naw, I wish we had been but we just drove down Friday afternoon, then fished till about 11:00 on Saturday and headed home.

I can see a full weekend in October though. I bet it is BEAUTIFUL when the leaves change.
