Finally got back around to the AR10. It was definitely over gassed. Came from factory wide open. Got that adjusted correctly, added a brake, and a limbsaver (just temporary slip-on). Wow...what a difference. It was beating the chit out of me before...but now it's really nice...and more expensive as I will be putting a lot more rounds through it...

Yes, they make a comforting bang and generally shoot straight. .

I have found the PAST magnum recoil pad to be the cat's meow of taming recoil. I put it on under my shirt and no matter if zeroing a 22 or a 300 WinMag no issues. I am not without it.

Seems like you have had over gassing problems with more than just your AR10
