Anyone else heard of any of the stolen blinds that weren't hunted this weekend?! I've heard of 2 that sat empty yesterday and today. In the past these would have both been hunted hard. Sure wouldn't have went unhunted!!! Thanks TWRA

A guy I met today told me he was told by the TWF the reason you can't jump quota blinds was because people from outside the area may not be able to make it to the blind they drew before daylight!!!!!!!
Now I don't know if that was the gospel but this would all be comical if it wasn't so sickeningly stupid as hell.

Everyone of us knows that the locals would have the blinds filled every single minute possible. By the commissioners own words they are denying hunting opportunities.

I will also say that today us and two other quota blinds packed up and left before lunch. That was three blinds that license carrying locals were banned from hunting in.

How completely stupid is this?

Of all the joys of public land duck hunting there's nothing quite as fun as a bunch of knuckleheads cruising around lost right at LST & the first hour of daylight messing up the hunt for errbody else on the area.

No I believe that was posted on here!!! Stupid rules made by stupid people

Very stupid. They (TWRA) are not checking people camping out overnight on WMAs so I really doubt they are checking Tier2 blinds for hoppers either. A man could probably hang out at ramps and back fill those empty blinds once they are vacant. Did anybody get checked for cards by officers this weekend?

If it is true they have trail cams set up watching them, I bet they would be there in an hour if you got in one.

I seen a picture of a trail camera that was supposedly at one of the blind sites this weekend. It wasn't disclosed which wma it was. This is on Facebook.

Yep. The 2 blinds I know were camped in would've had pictures over a 12 hour stretch. GW would've had plenty of time to get out there. They ain't enforcing the rule.

I will be honest, with the amount of work that will have to be done on the first morning I am actually ok with getting access prior to 4:00 a.m. and if someone is stupid enough to spend the night out there, well that's just dumb.
Probably had every bird in the area run out overnight anyway.

On another forum I saw complaints about Tier II's sitting empty on Reelfoot…and none other than @GUNNERX2 pointed out that RF was not open last weekend.

Surely wardens at least monitor to make sure nobody on RF gets away with confusing RF Zone season and Statewide?
