Below are a few photos of some recent calls that I made. The first pot is Walnut slate with slate over glass.

The next three pictures is Padauk slate call over glass with my signature Indian Head penny for good luck while hunting. The first time that I have used Padauk for a call. I like the appearance and the way it turns on the lathe.

The next couple of pictures is Bubinga. Bubinga is one of my favorite woods to use for calls. I especially like it for strikers. It have an excellent sound.

The last call is made from Sapele. Sapele turns well on a lathe and makes a good sounding call. The wood in the picture is rather plain in the picture. If you can find some curly Sapele it can make a great looking and sounding call.

The strikers are made from Hickory and Bubinga.
