Silver Wing Teal everywhere this year.

I've seen several of those myself. a day or two after the tornados done so much damage in nw tn, we seen probably 20-30 flying the exact same path within a couple hrs of daylight in the trimble area. Was kind of a strange sequence

The areas I hunt are in the flight paths of some major aircraft routes. You know when there's a really big one overhead, and it's fun to track them. "Big Birds" this year have been a giant Russian Antonov flying from Nova Scotia, a British Airways 787, and a couple 747's.

You using the app on your phone? My son has the app and it shows the type of aircraft, place of origin, destination, altitude and air speed.

No, I don't use the app. It's a rare enough opportunity that I always forget the site. So I Google "what plane is flying over me" and it pulls up a link to Flightradar24.com

The icons it shows are actually scaled, so I can pick out the big birds among the regular little guys. Pretty neat site, but I've never needed it enough to get the app.
