Ok, a farmer Brown I'm not. Is vac packing whole ears of corn as simple as you would think? Does anyone put anything in the pack with the corn? Does vac packing the whole ears keep it pretty fresh for several months?

Thanks!

It sure does keep it fresh. Always pack with a pat of butter, salt, pepper shakers and those little pointy things you put in the end of the ear to hold onto.

You will have almost as good of luck freezing the corn unhusked tied up in a plastic trash bag.

You are welcome.

No kidding? I'd kinda feel guilty freezing those little worms though.... :D

Makes them tender and more nurtritious.
