I can not believe my eyes!!! I posted a thread on the beans I no-tilled on Monday, July 4th. Friday morning the 8th, I looked over on my way to the shop and they were out of the ground!!

Granted, we had about .75 inch of rain on Wednesday, but I never dreamed they would be up this quick! I havent even fertilized them yet! These photos were taken today, (Sunday, 10th)

Here are a couple of shots of the $5 black oil sunflower seeds that planted a small patch of. Thanks Walmart for the good seed!

Lookin good man - I head back home this coming weekend, I'll try to get the lady out to take a pics before then but if not I'll be sure to post some "post-weed" pics, lol

I'm going to come spray again, maybe Sunday or later in the week. I will give you a shout. Going to hit the fall plot area and try to keep it knocked down!

My three plots are only about a third acre each, and I have no plans on keeping the deer out. About 40 yards to the south if this photo is 40 acres of ag beans. I hope with this abundance of food that mine will prosper.

I'm not like you Perry county guys that don't have enough food for your deer!

I also don't think my deer density is near what yall have to deal with.

Sounds good :) Yeah, just give me a call anytime after Sat morning, thats when my flight gets in. I go pick up a walk-behind sickle mower on Sun (prob in the afternoon, so I'd be free til lunch at least), and I'll be seeing a guy about a tractor and bushhog on the way back - no worries, I'm still gonna use u for the plots while I'm gone :) , and then next Mon I leave to pick my daughter up and I wont be back til Wed. We'll figure something out tho, lookin forward to seein ya again!
