1) I haven't had to do any lengthy drags
2) I haven't had to aim or shoot into the sun

GL. I haven't seen a horn in a few weeks..lol. Not a good year for me. We need some bitter cold before the end! They will move then.

I used to think that also because that's what I heard all the time. That deer will move more when it's colder. However, I see MUCH less deer movement when it's bitter cold. If you think about it, what keeps your core body temp warmer? Curling up or just taking a step here and there? If you were walking briskly, then yea...movement keeps you warmer. But, when deer move, they don't move quick enough IMO to really elevate their body temp much.

GLAD YOU'RE HOLDING ON TO YOUR SENSE OF HUMOR, I ALWAYS SAY WHEN IT'S GOING BAD, IT'S GOT TO GET BETTER ONLY QUESTION IS WHEN. ;)

That I can remember, it is the only way I personally have seen/killed good bucks late season. I do know this...if I am cold in the stand and I get down. I can remove several layers of clothing and still be warm because I am moving around.
