Anyone wanting to try Pheasant hunting, look up Turner Game Birds in Covington. My father-in-law set us up a hunt this morning, and I can't say enough good things about Mr. Ted and Nicholas. They made sure we had a top notch hunt.

My dad, brother, and I went there once about 8 years ago and had a really fun time on the quail.
It was awesome, and they took care of everything for us. We paid for a dozen birds, and we wound up with three extras that other hunters had missed. Once it was over they cleaned and bagged them up. I was very impressed, and we will likely go again next year.

Cost???
$150 per hunter, base price, for half day hunt. That included 4 pheasant per hunter. Any leftover missed birds from other hunts that you encounter are free bonus birds. There were 3 of us, and we shot our 12 plus 3 bonus freebies. They clean them for you, and give you each a shotgun shell stuffed with tail feathers as a souvenir. I don't have any other experience to compare the price to, but it felt like a good value and was a lot of fun. They also provided bottled water and sodas during the hunt.SKFOOTER":c0h8w0kq said:
