Turkeys in Wayne County

Most turkey hunters in Wayne county can agree that the turkey population is extremely low especially in southern Wayne county. My question is why not either lower the bag limit to one bearded turkey a year or close the season down entirely for a few years. A limit of 4 is way too many turkeys especially in areas where there aren't many. I know a lot of hunters who aren't going to buy a Tennessee hunting license anymore if the populations start making a comeback

You need to voice your concerns to Richard Kirk in the Region 2 office (615-781-6622 as his group will be over recommendations for Region 2 counties.

I firmly agree that the bag limit needs to be reduced!
