Turkey quota priority points

I really just want another point in TN this year. I have to many higher quality quota options in other states. Any hunts to apply for with 2 points that would usually guarantee me a point rather than drawing? Yuchi perhaps? I can't remember, if I just don't apply, do i Lose points? Thanks

I don't believe you lose points (check the "misconceptions" pinned thread), but I think Yuchi's earliest hunt would be the way I'd apply if I was trying to just get a preference point.

I've had 2 points for many years now. Just not any TWRA quota hunts in the western part Tn

I don't believe you lose points if you don't apply. Probably Yuchi is the way to go if you want to possibly gain a point.

I've been apply for Yuchi for the last 4 years. I'm going into this years with 4 points. I should get picked. I wish they would post points needed to get picked. I would like to put in some years but not hunt.

That's nice. In KY you have to apply every year or you lose them. There is also an option to just gain a point which is nice.

Pick Yuchi.. usually takes 5 points to draw it

They're all in the eastern part of the state except for Happy Hollow.

Stay away from happy hollow unless you like overcrowding.
