Turkey dates question

Since the season dates have changed.....
Does the public land open 2 weeks later than private like it always has?
If not, That really sucks for people that hunt private ground...

No, they open same date this year, 15Apr23. FWIW, it has not "always" opened two weeks later. That is just something they did in last few years for the Mississippi River Floodwaters Zone. Per the 2022/2023 H&T Guide, it does appear WMAs in the MRFZ will only be open for three weeks (15Apr23 - 07May23). Bag limit is one turkey and it counts toward statewide bag limit of two. Also, if it matters, no fanning or reaping allowed on WMAs this year.
