I've never once caught, ate, or even tried to catch a trout. I'm just a simple crappie/bream guy lol. For whatever reason after all these years, Friday afternoon I decided to go try and catch a few. Took the easy route and went below the dam. It took forever to hook up. I ditched the trout worm after a hour and a half of no bites and tied on a blade bait. Seems like there was a 10-15 minute period where every cast was a fish! A friend of mine caught 6 with 3 being nice ones I ended up with these.
They shut off just as it was starting to get dark dark, my buddy was packing up so naturally I said "alright one more cast and I'm done". As soon as it hit the water I was hooked up, by the time I landed the fish I looked over to see my buddy was already casting again. We stayed another hour and never got another bite lol.
