Trout???

Anyone try the Elk up by Tims Ford yet this year? I was thinking about giving it a go next weekend if the weathers right.

There is always stocker rainbows and browns that stay within the first mile of the dam. The farther you get away from the dam the bigger they get. The earlier you get there the better. The crowds are going to start getting pretty big with this warmer weather.

Went a couple of weekends ago and it was really slow. One of us caught a limit. The rest of us caught 5 or 6 apiece. We use spinning ultralights. I don't know about the fly fisherman...
