trophy rock

My cam set 2 weeks over a 12 lb trophy rock and didn't get 1 picture
Of a deer. Pics of me coming and leaving. Any suggestions

Sign in the area? Deer usually can smell them and will find them. Especially in areas that are mineral deficient.

Main mineral site here is just off a corner of a food plot on the edge of a hardwoods.

I have always placed corn in addition to trophy rock. Right now, the big guys are more interested in the rocks than the corn. They found it two weeks after I placed it and abandoned where only corn was. It works.

I didn't know if my camera was messing up or if the rock
I bought was junk

I got a camera sitting over a rock and only 5 pics in a week. Saw over 40 deer in a field last night, less than 1/2 mile away. The deer are just all bunched up and moving very little.
Stick with it some will find it.
