I got on the water about 2:00 on Friday and fished for an hour and a half.
Left the no wake zone at Paris landing went about 50 yards and flipped a U.
White capping with about 3 footers.
Went to a spot I have fished before and started throwing the gulp minnow.
Caught 27 with 17 keepers.
Had a few of these. Absolutely beautiful.
Landed this monster smallmouth too !
Saturday we put in at Grays landing to avoid having to cross the channel plus the crowds.
Not knowing much about the lake the bass bite was tough.
I ended up with 6 and man had 3.
Both our biggest were 2 1/2#.
This little guy was a tad aggressive.
We ran about 15 miles total. Filled my boat back up this morning and it held 2 gallons
Got her all cleaned up and ready to go in the morning.
