How many times do you reload your brass before you trim the case? How long is too long before you trim your cases?

I have found that the WSM cases I have reloaded do not need to be trimmed after 3 or 4 reloads. The case necks just do not get long. The longest WSM case was .006 above the trim to length. My 270 win and -06 brass have to be trimmed after the first time the brass has been shot.

I have real good luck with it,,I think it is my sizing technique .

I full length size with the die backed up to where it stops just right before it bumps the shoulder,,IMO,this is the best way to get your brass to fit your chamber correctly and requires less case working when you size your brass,

it produces my most accurate loads I load also..I quiet neck sizing 10 years ago..

when I do trim I go about .003-.004 shorter than trim to length and dont trim until 10 cases will average .001 over max case length..

lots of my case will go 7-8 firings before they need trimmed and I have some 308 and 6mm Rem cases that have been loaded 20 times

Depends on the rifle and load here.I Full Lenght Resize everything and some will be to max or above lenght almost everytime and otheres I still haven't trimmed after 5 firrings.

X die only trim once and your done but I haven't fired those but once so far.
