Did anybody read the tribute to the guys who were caught poaching on Fort Campbell? Did not mention their names because it would not have been respectful to embarras them.
They were excused from their crimes by low fines and no jail time. Because, hey, they were just a couple of rich local boys who got a little carried away. They, the poachers, also said getting caught made them see the error in their ways and that it was a good thing for everybody.
All the taxidermists were innocent also, because those dang rich boys sweet talked them into doing those mounts.
And besides the law enforcement guys new the rich guys and their famalies, so that made it 'OK' also.
How many illegal trophies were there? over 40? You know those rich boys were punished enough by just having to pay those exhorbitant taxidermy fees.
They were glad they were caught. The law enforcement guys were glad they were caught. Hey, lets just call it 'a wash' and everybody go home.
We will all start over tomorrow. sort of like Wiley Coyote and the Road Runner.
