havn't played with that gun exactly but i would actually rate traditions new stuff above cva but under tc. someone will not like me saying that but that's my opinion. I have a genesis (remington made by traditions) and a friend has a pursuit. both are great quality. I just ordered a thumbhole stock for my genesis from traditions fella said it is the same stock as on the vortek.
3 777 pellets and 300 grain xtp groups well out to 125 yards havn't tried past that. 2 777 pellets grouped well also but if it will group with 3 my mind says why not but shoulder cusses a bit.
