I got a quote for a Mahindra 4035 package with 16ft trailor 6ft box blade, and 6ft mower for $21,400. Is this a decent price for this package. I can also get the front end loader with the package and it would be $25,200.

What do you think?

Don't know - I paid $20K 4 years ago for a Kubota L3400 4WD, bucket, box blade, Woods 5'tiller, whirlybird fert spreader, Woods 6' bush hog & a 7' cultipacker (all new). Bought them at Brown Equipment in Loretto, TN.

My advice is to call around and get several quotes. I personally would not settle with one quote from the dealer closest to my house. I called my local Mahindra dealer for you and they were $1,000 dollars higher than both of your two quotes. I just talked to my best friend who has a Mahindra 4110 with a front end loader. He said he shopped them pretty hard back 5-6 years ago and the dealer below gave him the best price and delivered it to his house for free. He never went to the dealership, just bought it over the phone and had it delivered.

Are you going to haul this equipment? If so, what are you going to use to haul this equipment?

The Kubota dealer here quoted me a price of 14K plus tax on a new B3300. Its 4wd and just what I need. What HP is the one you mentioned? Is it 4wd?

34 & yes it is 4WD. Awesome piece of equipment! Buddy of mine in FL bought a new one this year (they changed model number) and loves it too. Can't go wrong with an "Orange Mule"!

Its 40hp and 4wd. Its kind of compact and will fit in my steel cargo container for storage. The MSRP is over 22k just for the tractor. I had another dealer already quote me on just the tractor for $20,600.

Another option is to shop around and buy a pampered used one such as this one (exact model my best friend has).

I am looking new because they offer 0% financing for 60 months and come with a 5 year warranty.

Your a good guy Andy!

I'm going to borrow a truck to get it to my property and then it is going to stay there except for when it needs service.

Since it's for your farm I'd definitely get the FEL with it.

Thats what the dealer told me also.

We have a Mahindra 4025 2wd at my family's place in Louisiana and have no complaints.

FWIW, my best friend was a Kubota guy before his Mahindra purchase. He told me that he loved all of his past Kubotas (no complaints), but he has been just as happy with his new Mahindra. He has about 500 hours on it over the last 5-6 years.
