We were so excited for our hunt at Lbl this week. We got there on Monday morning. It was hot!!! Than it rained for parts of 3 days. We didn't get in the stand before daylight one morning because of rain. We found lots of deer sign, but deer sightings were hard to come by. Saw one deer while hunting in stand. We got down just before dark 2 evenings and rode around to scout the fields for the potential evening spots. We also rode around 1 morning while it was raining looking for potential hunting spots. Saw maybe a dozen in the fields and crossing the roads in 4 days. On rainy days, we stayed in truck til rain slacked, then got right out and into our stands. We hunted til midday, then back in the stands around 3-4 o'clock.

We were blessed to kill a doe each. One from the stand. The other we sighted while scouting and stalked up on and I killed it with my buddies crossbow. My first time to stalk up on a deer and kill it with a bow of any kind. That was exciting!

We had a good time, enjoyed LBL and were blessed with a good trip, though deer movement was tough.

I was up there a couple days last week checking out some new spots. movement was pretty slowww

6 of us Hunted opening weekend came home Monday night the 3 days of hunting we seen around 60 deer and just as many people and they had people riding the road shooting deer from the road while we was up there to fun trip with the guys tho can't complain
