Tomatoes finally coming in

Looks like a nice haul. Wife has been eating a lot of tomato and cucumber salads the past month or so. Ready for some fresh salsa myself.

Do you usually pull your tomatoes before they ripen up? I've been thinking about starting to do that because I'm either too late or animals get to them first.

I usually do. If they have a little blush they will ripen nicely.

Yep looks really good.
Looks like a nice variety. Tomato fesitval is tomorrow here locally and I hope they are better than years past. Neighbor set out some plants for S&G's and low and behold we were gifted some cherokee purples and mr stripeys this week that were better than anything we bought roadside.
Toss some crumbled feta cheese and olive oil on them bad boys. Makes a Balkan salad.
