Went for a little walk this evening and brought out a couple.

Only been able to go out twice this year. The first one is from 10pt I'm hunting, but the shed is from the 2021 season. He was considerably bigger last season. Actually found that one when I went to pull out my stand in January.

The second group was a great day. Walked 5.2 miles, but it was apparently still a tad too early. Not one of those from last season.

Just collected the last group with the very nice deadhead on a 6.2-mile walk. Still only one shed from this last season which is strange. The six-point shed has a 6" base and 22" main beam. The dead head had most of the brows nibbled off and a few inches of the main beam and pretty much all the G-4s. Guessing probably been there at least a couple of years. Guess I'm done for this year. Now anxiously awaiting late July to deploy cameras.

Gonna try and keep my temper in line here….Largest set I ever found. This deer was 166" and some change last season as a 4.5yo. Mind you I have watched this deer since he was a 2.5yo typical 12 point. I told 1 "close friend" where he was and wouldn't you know it they sold me out to a damn celebrity hunter tv show who bought the land next door to my spot then shot him over a pile of corn on opening day this year…he went 183" gross
Never tell anyone, not even your wife, until you shoot your prized deer.
