What is the earliest month one could expect to find sheds in east Tn?

I've found quite a few at the end of January, but I usually don't really start looking until March.

I hear you on that. I'll be out there this weekend scouting, making fire lines, grabbing the last few cameras out and posting portions of the property. All while keeping an eye out for sheds

I've already found some here in middle tn. I've seen them hanging on into late March too.

I've found several fresh drops in Wayne in January including the biggest matching set I've ever found.

Mid February to early March seems to be when the majority drop but not uncommon at all for January to claim several.

When I was serious about finding them I ran cameras like summer watching them. But I'm not that serious anymore.

This Extremely Cold weather and snow the last few weeks could trigger some of them to start dropping. They don't need to be carrying the extra weight, Plan on getting out next weekend . Good time to start scouting for next year.

Yep had a group of 11 bucks in soybean field beside house yesterday. 7 in tact, 3 half racks and one fully shed. Marshall bedford line
