Food Plots To late to plant

Plenty of time yet depending on what you are wanting to grow. You could still have field corn make if you get it in the next week, and plenty of time for beans to make forage.

I have planted corn July 4th before and had it make just fine. Going to be about the time I get mine in this year. Just gotta hope you get rain...

I still haven't even taken a tractor to my food plot field yet this year because of standing water. Hoping to bush hog and spray this weekend if possible. I've planted corn mid July and had it make large ears in the past so I'm not giving up yet. My plan is to do some kind of soybean corn mix. The center of the field is imperial clover from the Whitetail Institute. Sure wish it would stop raining so danged much though. :)

Got my plots in this past weekend so get ready for your dry spell...

Well I still couldn't get to mine last Saturday so maybe the rain that's messing me up will water yours. :) It might as well do some good for somebody. I've still got a strip of water about 100 feet across with soft mud under it between me and the plot area. I wouldn't want to bet any money that it will be dry this weekend either. Very frustrating.
