Ok... First time I have ever put in for the TN Wildlife Refuge hunt. Me and My son got drawn. I have never even been on the property yet and I have no idea where to go. I drew the Duck River Remainder area #4... Does anybody have any information that might point us in a good area to hunt? We have no boat to use either so we will be on dry land.

Wow. You are a long way from the Duck River Remainder. Your best bet is to get a good map of the area (should have come with the permits.) Take I40 W to exit 133. This road will lead to along the West side of the TN River and you have several options to take several roads that lead to the west side of the river where the huntable land is. Eagle Creek area has a large portion that you can check out.
Exit 137 also has a large portion of land that you can get to easily. Good luck hunting. I would stay in my stand or in my blind for the entire hunting day to get my first Doe on the ground and move if need be to work on getting your Buck. Remember that you have to take an antlerless deer BEFORE you can shoot a buck. There are quite a few rules at this TNWR so read them all before hunting.
Good Luck Hunting.

Mike D has some good advice.Any refuge land that is not in the main bottom is considered remainder.Birdsong marina is pretty close and has a campground and rental units available.

Good deal. Thanks guys for the information. And yes I am a good drive away but that's all good. I enjoy good road trip and exploring new territory is a bonus. My oldest son is going with me. It's been years since we were able to go on a draw hunt together, that will make the hunt just spending time with him. The deer will be a bonus
