My brother and sister-in-law come in to help with the daughter's pageant. Interesting fellow, knows I am a hunter and avid gun...admirer. Tells me he wants me to look at his gun. Pulls a Springfield XDM out of the suitcase.

We examine it talk it's finer points then proceed to get on the internet drooling over gunporn. Then he tells me to pull up Budsgunshop.com. I think I have heard it mentioned before but not certain. Let's just say I'm slowly becoming infatuated with this weapon. A 1911 style .45 ACP for $399.00? I've started looking at reviews and haven't found a bad one yet.

Anyone have any experience with these guns?

After looking at the pic close up, if they can't machine a safety any better than that I would have serious concerns about the rest of the gun.

there is probably a reason it's $399. I would hold out for a springfield or kimber if I wanted a 1911. or colt but that's a whole 'nother price range.
