I have only fished Tim's Ford once but would like to learn a little more about it. What type of advise would u give me. I like smallmouth fishing the most.

Smallmouth is about the best on Tims Ford from now to the middle of May. Right now use lite line and lite hair jigs. I prefer spinning tackle. Float and Fly works good also. When the water warms crankbaits and the rig are good. For the best smallmouth fishing stay on the lower end of the lake. As soon as deer season ends I will be hitting Tims Ford hard for smallmouth.

What boat ramp do you suggest on the lower end?
Devils Step Boat ramp. Fish the points pig/jig black/blue. Rocky bottoms with zoom 4 inch dead ringer greenpumkin prespawn.
