Time change question

Just wondering since I've never had the experience do cheaper trail cams change time on their own or do I need to turn them back? Thanks.

The cameras we use have to be changed by us.

I've not seen one that changes time for you. In fact, I never use Daylight Saving Time on my cameras for scientific reasons. Even in summer, my cams are always on Standard Time.

Remember that some states don't use Daylight Saving Time, so a manufacturer would be wise not to incorporate it into automatic software.

I did not know that. I sure miss the few precious moments of daylight afterwork myself and ain't looking forward to rolling the clocks back ha.

I was recently in Arizona, which doesn't use Daylight Saving Time. My smart phone recognized I had changed time zones and automatically set the time to Daylight Savings Mountain Time Zone. I then tried to set it another hour earlier to account for the local Standard Time usage. Boy did I ever screw up my phone! None of the messaging/texting functions worked properly until I got home and just told the phone to reset everything automatically!

Dang that sounds like a my luck with electronic devises. I got my first smart phone and inserted my sd card with 6 hunting seasons worth of pics on it. They wouldn't show so me being the DIY I am decided I would use the format option (which I didn't have a clue what it meant) and guess what poof all my photos gone :cry:
