Ticks?

I was expecting to be eaten up this weekend but I spent roughly 12 hours in some thick stuff that is usually crawling with blood suckers and I didn't see a single one.

Any other tick reports?

I've been out twice and gotten two off of me, the latest was embedded in my side about an hour ago

had them crawling all over me but non had embedded in and most seemed almost dead I guess it was the permethrin it was the first time i have found any on me since i started using the permethrin pulled 23 off me total today

Have not seen many ticks this year until today. One particular spot near a field edge they were so bad we had to leave. You could look down and see 1, 2 or more crawling on the leaves and they got into the backpack and on me and my gun. It was nuts... time to buy some permethrin

Three days out and not one tick. This includes more than a few low crawls and plenty of bushes.
Pants, jacket and shirt went in the wash tonight. Supposed to be good for 6 washes, but I'll give them a light spray just in case.
After last year, and my wife finding ticks on HER that I brought home, I'm glad I made the switch from DEET.
