I recently bought a Nikon pro staff 3x9 x 40 bdc for my smoke pole, and can't be happier
I shoot 90 grains loose pyrodex 295-300 gr spire point sabots at about 1700 vel
I sighted in the cross hairs dead on @ 75yds
The 1st circle is at about 100yds
The second circle I confirmed last weekend is dead on @ 150yds
I still have to shoot further out to confirm others
my best guess would be the 3rd circle about 200yds
and the top of the bottom post about 250 yds if thats the case you dont have to spend more for a specific black powder scope, Omega I think they call it
What do you think the yds will be for the others?
