Second year to have a piece of property to
Myself and the first year it has a turkey population that I feel Comfortable hunting, but guess what.... I have to wait til the 17th... Sat morning I had 6 different longbeards pass by my cell camera before 8am and one gobbling and strutting at 11am right in front of it...

Been going every morning and listening to them fire off like crazy on the limb and ground.

I totally expect them to disappear next wk and not hear anything when it opens....

You will be just fine. If there are 6 toms there at this point in the spring, there will be at least 3 there in 2 weeks if your place has nesting cover. And the birds will be on fire mid morning after the hens break off to lay. Travel to hunt elsewhere the first 2 weeks.
