Hunter and I traded our bass rods for ultralights today. We fillet all our fish so we only keep bream over 8 inches. All these were 8-10 inches. We kept 17 and threw back a bunch more.

Dang nice mess there, can't wait to get on the water here in the next few weeks. turkeys have kept me from fishing much at all. You done any good in the turkey woods?

No good Cat. I got my boy on a good bird that had 1 and 1/4 sharp spurs but I can't seem to close the deal myself. It's starting to get good with hens nesting so I'm still hopeful I'll kill one.

And there are still meat on the males. On up in the bedding season, the bulls look huge from the side, then you look at them from the top and they are knife blade thin.
