#2 came from another piece of public ground.
I will not post the birds weight as to not upset Setterman :stir:
Big beard was 11 1/2" next was 9" and then 8 1/2"
Spurs were 1 1/8" & 1 1/4"
Another big hardwood ridge bird. Shot was 30 yrds
Took 2.5 hrs to call him in.

Why?? It's a dang Internet forum why stoke the fire? You have complained about the stuff that goes on in here sometimes then in the next post stoke the fire on purpose or get a jab in. You can't have it both ways and to post stuff like pics of dead hens with the sole purpose to get people mad or cause trouble isn't helping or being very mature.

How much did it weight man? if you dont want to post it on here, send me a pm.. My son and i both got 2 yr olds opening day, one weighed 20 and the other 21. Nothing special on beards or spurs either, just normal... it does seem like a lot of birds are heavier this year for some reason...5 yrs ago those birds would have been in the 17-18 lb range.. i was suprised at their weight also. they were weighed on deer scales, so i dont have any ounces to go with that
