Anyone here going to try for some of those tank raised trout that are being released? I had a blast fishing below PP Dam last year. It's a great way to kill some time and get some fish.

Well first ya get ya a couple of big rocks.. some duct tape and a couple of Quarter sticks.. tape them to rocks and toss them in the water.. then you just walk along with a net and gather your "winnings"!

Any type small,in-line spinner
blue fox, rooster tails
Whole kernel corn works well to, it looks like the food they feed them in the hatchery. But, because your in a pond there is no current and you'll have to fish corn under a float to keep it off of the bottom.
Something else that works well for me is Power Bait.
They make some especially for trout, I like the orange color.
This stuff floats, put a small split shot about 10" above your hook and let it sit on the bottom. If a fish hits it, it will come off of the hook.

awesome much appreciated scopeeye! i will try to make sure i put some pics on here.....is it best to try to catch em as soon as they are released? or give em a couple days

I'm waiting for a warm(er) and sunny day. Its been so wet and cold there is no trout out there worth that. Certainly no 11"er.

Ya'll need to come to East Tn and fish the Clinch. Plenty of trout and there are quite a few bruisers mixed in. If you don't fly fish, try Powerbait on a #6 or #8 hook with two bb split shot about 12-16" up the line. The powerbait will float up off the bottom.
