The stripes are a runnin!!

Fished today on wilson lake below wheeler dam.. up in bluewater creek.. we probably caught 30-35 stripe, 3-4 bluegill, 1 nice crappie, and about 4 largemouths.. all caught on monkey milk jigs and shad raps.. the one in the picture is close to a pound.. caught a couple pushing 1 3/4 pounds and 1 that was close to 2 pounds...

Cool, another month and they will be running here on the river by my house. I like it when you get into a school of them 2 lbers.

I missed the run on these last year. This year, the refinery is shutting down for turnaround maintenance April through May (ugh), so I'm hoping I can hit the TN river before that starts and catch a mess or two of them.

If anyone starts seeing them school in the river down from Pickwick, please say so!
