Fished this wknd , not too many people out, havent fished the caney for a while but caught this sucker on a pinner-minner.. :D today with big lures, caught another 2x4" on saturday and seriousely Hooked a 30"+ that day but got away...I know its only a fish story without proof, but i saw that same fish today and it is definetly is 31"++ , maybe someone will catch it this winter..sure like to see it caught! ..this one is at 23.7" straight.

Was fun shoreman, I guess for a pic of a release that one did'nt come out to well. The fish did right himself and swim off strongls though.
 
Takin' names boys...

...I'm tellin' ya...try those sculpin soft plastic baits. I bet they'll trip someone's trigger. I've found WAY too many sculpins in those big brown's stomachs. Although, I do remmeber watching that 30" on 3 gens that day with you Shore, chasing what appeared to be skipjack or really large gizzard shad. Give dem boys a meal. I talked to a guy who knows the dude who caught the state record on the CLinch, and he said there was a contingency of guys who'd get a couple over 20 pounds each year....trolling musky lures. Food for thought.

thats a great fish. I would like to fish that river a couple times. I have heared alot about it but never been there or even know where it is. Maybe one day i will find it
